Interested in seeing how to use SharePoint for Records Management? Want to learn how to create and manage a SharePoint Records Center? Then, this is the meeting for you! The Records Management department at OGE Energy Corp. has embarked on utilizing content types, information management policies, the development of an information governance plan and more to effectively manage corporate records within the corporate SharePoint environment. This meeting will demonstrate tactics and resources to turn you into a SharePoint guru!
Kathleen E. Dedig, CRM, Records Management Manager, OGE Energy Corp.
For over 40 years, Kathleen Dedig, CRM has been involved in all aspects of Record and Information Management (RIM). Kathleen started her RIM career by delivering boxes and with the encouragement of a former supervisor, actively pursued a career as a RIM professional. Currently, Kathleen is the Records Management Manager at OGE Energy Corp. Kathleen has a BS from the California University of Pennsylvania and an MLIS from the University of Pittsburgh. Kathleen has been an active member of ARMA since 1980 and earned the CRM designation in 1986. Kathleen has worked in various industries including oil and gas and banking. Kathleen still enjoys reading a hard copy book and owns over 5,000 that can be enjoyed without having to plug them in to recharge.
Amanda Elizabeth Lemon, Records Management Analyst, OGE Energy Corp.
Amanda Elizabeth Lemon is the Records Management Analyst at OGE Energy Corp. Before OGE, Amanda worked as the Records Coordinator at Western Farmers Electric Cooperative. In her career before records management she worked as an academic librarian and adjunct professor at the University of Central Oklahoma and Oklahoma City Community College. Amanda holds a Master of Library and Information Studies from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Arts in French and Russian Studies from the University of Tulsa. Amanda lives in NW OKC with her pet army: Clint, the heeler/shepherd mix; Ella, the lab/collie mix; Sofi, the Heinz 57 mix; Charlie, a mean black cat and Ziggy, the sweetest ginger tabby you’ll ever meet. She hates edging her lawn, people who pop their knuckles, and liver.
