RIM vs IG: The RIM Profession in Transition
In this session, John Isaza will share his 20-year journey as a legal pioneer in the field of records and information governance. He will share common themes and patterns observed during the breadth of his IG services for some of the most highly regulated and largest companies in the world. Finally, he will conclude with tips and best practices for staying relevant in the industry. As always, his speaking style will invite questions from the audience and allow for an interactive discussion.

John Isaza
John Isaza, Esq. & FAI is a California-based attorney and partner at Rimon Law, where he heads the records and information management (RIM) legal practice group. He is also co-founder of Information Governance Solutions, featuring VIRGO, a web-based records and in-formation governance global research platform. Mr. Isaza is widely recognized as one of the country’s foremost experts on information governance, electronic discovery, the revised Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and other RIM issues. Mr. Isaza has developed information governance and records retention programs for some of the most highly regulated Fortune 100 companies, including related regulatory research opinions. He currently serves on the certification board for Information Governance Professionals (the “IGP”).
