For a session on: The Maturing Role of Advanced
Computing in Energy
Advanced cognitive, automation,
and cloud-based technologies are driving widespread innovation and
disruption. The industries are requiring systems to be proven and
scalable before mass adoption. Where are we in the adoption lifecycle of
these different technologies? Is artificial intelligence just
hype? How can we think about success at an enterprise level and not
just in business silos? In this session, Jacob Dressen discusses what
lessons can be learned from early adopters.
Jacob is an Oklahoma native and
graduate of Oklahoma State University. Jacob has been part of the BIS
sales team since 2008. Jacob is a member of ARMA, the OIPA and PPDM,
organizations locally. He puts high value on finding solutions that
benefit his customers and improve their capabilities and utilizes a large team
of experts throughout the company to ensure his customers’ projects are
implemented in the best possible manner.
